In 2009 a few families from Park URC suggested a weekend camp for anyone from church who might be interested, since then we have had a camp almost every year - in 2016 we camped at White Mark Farm in Watlington and had a great time playing badminton in the rain, flying kites at the top of the hill, playing football and singing round the camp fire.
This year, 2017 we are camping at Oakley Farm Camp Site, Wash Water, near Newbury (http://www.oakleyfarm.co.uk) from 23rd June until 25th June.
Looking further ahead: our church family weekend camp is booked for the weekend of 22nd - 24th June 2018, when we'll be returning to White Mark Farm, Watlington in the Chilterns.
Further details about the site for 2018
White Mark Farm campsite is set at the foot of the Chiltern Hills in a quiet area of 'outstanding natural beauty' only 3 miles from the M40 motorway and half mile from the town of Watlington, Oxfordshire (the smallest town in the country). White Mark Farm has been recommended by Camping and Caravanning Club members, with recently upgraded toilet and shower facilities. The site offers views across the open Oxfordshire countryside, with good walking and cycling in the immediate area. The National Ridgeway Trail runs alongside the campsite and there are excellent photo opportunities with Red Kites flying overhead and plenty of other wildlife to be seen.

In 2015 our weekend camp was from Friday 19th June until Sunday 21st June 2015 it was another great church weekend camp at a different venue in Wallingford, right by the River Thames - as usual we had a wide range of activities for young and old - we enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool, we were able to go kayaking on the River Thames and many people explored the delights of Wallingford.
