Park Church supports in principle the major URC initiative to the poor people of the world, ‘Commitment for Life’. This is our first year of involvement and the membership endorses this important contribution to the life of the Church and its world-wide mission.
Park has chosen to direct financial contributions to projects in Bangladesh, one of the four target regions. A consistent dialogue is maintained between the Church and the National Project Co-ordinator.
This supports regular communication to members about developments and relevant issues through an information board maintained and up-dated in the Church premises.
A group of members are already closely involved with this initiative and from time to time aspects of this work are integrated into the services and the work of the SALT group.
