Harvest festival

Our Harvest Festival service is usually celebrated in September, this service allows us to give thanks for the fruitfulness of God's creation and to make our contributions to help others less fortunate. We had a collection of food items in 2009 which were donated to the Churches in Reading Drop-In Centre (CIRDIC) which helps homeless and vulnerable people in Reading, other food donations went to 'Feed the Children' a charity which helps people around the world. In addition, donations of money were sent to South Africa to help with the Bible School where church members Neil and Hilary Applegate are assisting with the training of local ministers.
