Healing Ministry

At Park United Reformed Church we believe that healing is for everyone, whether happy or hurting, lonely or outgoing.

Healing is not about 'throwing away your crutches' but about 'wholeness',  of mind, body and of spirit.

At our evening Healing and Wholeness Services we join together to share worship, the services are advertised in our magazine and on the noticeboards.

The worship includes a celebration of the Lord's Supper and  prayers of healing and wholeness with the laying on of hands.

Park URC has been working with the Acorn Healing Foundation to extend this ministry through the 'Christian Listening' Course and 'Growing a Healing Ministry' Course.

Jeremiah 33 v 6
'Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.'
